A Persim Berry (Japanese: キーのみKī Fruit) is a type of Berry introduced in Generation III. It is the spiritual successor of the Bitter Berry from Generation II, having an identical effect when used on or by a Pokémon.
If the holder is confused, it will consume its held Persim Berry and cure it of confusion. When forcibly consumed via Fling, Pluck, Bug Bite, or Item Urge, it also cures the consumer of confusion.
Bag item
When used from the Bag on a Pokémon, it cures that Pokémon of confusion. This consumes the Persim Berry.
Persim Berries have a base Berry Powder of 30 and a difficulty of 50. With two players, this Berry will contribute 60 units of Berry Powder at 100% silkiness.
A Persim plant will yield 2-5 Berries. A growing Persim plant's soil dries by 15% every hour, fully drying out in 7 hours.

Persim Berry Cards listed with a blue background are only legal to use in the current Expanded format. Cards listed with a silver background are legal to use in both the current Standard and Expanded formats.
Despite the relationship of this berry to the Bitter Berry from Generation II, both being the Berries that cured confusion, the Persim Berry is not actually bitter. In Generation IV and VIII, bitterness is actually the only flavor that the Persim Berry does not have.
Origin
The Persim Berry's design and name may be based on persimmons.
