Rock Climb (Japanese: ロッククライム Rock Climb) is a damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV. It has a 20% chance of confusing the target.
Effect
In Battle
Rock Climb inflicts damage and has a 20% chance of confusing the opponent.
Outside of battle
A Pokémon using Rock Climb can scale rocky surfaces.

Trivia
- All fully evolved starter Pokémon can learn Rock Climb except for Charizard.
- Ash's Grotle is the first Pokémon belonging to one of the anime's main characters to use an HM move, this one. Dawn's Piplup's Whirlpool, however, does not count as the move has not had HM status since Generation II.
