The Pokémon Showboat (Japanese: ポケモンショーボートPokémon Showboat) is a location featured in Stage Fight!.
The paddle steamer operates as a floating theater run by four voice actors named Roger, Kay, Len, and Anne. They put on shows with their many Pokémon as actors while the four of them are behind the scenes providing the human voices for a unique audience experience, thereby creating the effect that the Pokémon themselves are capable of speech. In addition to being a theater, the Pokémon Showboat also serves as a home for the four actors and their Pokemon.
In Stage Fight!, Ash, Misty, and Tracey visited the showboat to see a show there while it was docked at Kinnow Island. Roger and the others agreed to give them a ride to the next island after the show, where they were due to put on a performance, and in return, Ash and his friends helped Kay overcome her misunderstandings with her Raichu.
Pokémon
The following is a listing of the Pokémon that live and perform on the showboat with Roger, Kay, Len, and Anne. With the exception of Kay's Raichu, it is unclear which Pokémon belong to which voice actors, if such a distinction exists.
Raichu
Raichu is the only Pokémon living on the showboat to be confirmed to belong to a specific voice actor, being Kay's Pokémon. Due to Kay's fear of Raichu's electricity and Raichu's nervousness around Kay, they were having trouble getting along, but with some help from Ash and his friends, the two of them finally began to understand each other and put on a spectacular performance for their audience. Its onstage voice is provided by Kay.
During the show watched by Ash and his friends, Clefable played the love interest of Hitmonchan and his rival, Machoke. Its onstage voice is provided by Anne.
