Trivia
- Doryuzu has the highest Attack of all Steel-type Pokémon, tied with Metagross. It also has the highest HP of all Steel-type Pokémon.
- However, Doryuzu has the lowest Defense of all Template:Type2 Pokémon, displacing Magnemite and Lucario.
- Despite being Steel type, the only damaging Steel move it can learn is Metal Claw.
- Metal claw is also the only Steel type move Doryuzu learns by leveling up. Iron Defense and Metal Sound can only be learned through breeding.
Origin
Doryuzu is based on a mole with characteristics of digging tools such as shovels and drills.
Name origin
Its name is likely a combination of ドリルズ Doriruzu, drills, and 竜 ryū, dragon, the reading of the second kanji on 土竜 mogura, mole, when by itself.
