History
Gozu and the rest of Matori Matrix were sent to the Alola region by Giovanni. He was first seen aboard a helicopter alongside Matori as it approached Alola. At that moment, Giovanni contacted them for a briefing on their progress. After Matori completed the call, she asked Gozu if they would arrive in Alola soon, and when he confirmed that they would, she had him give the order to activate their craft's cloaking device.
Gozu reappeared in SM088, where he and the rest of the unit were afflicted by the effect that all of the adults in Alola were suffering. Despite this, they managed to catch Dawn Wings Necrozma, only for it to break free. After this, they tried to capture Nebby and Lunala, but their plans were thwarted by the Ultra Guardians, forcing them to activate their cloaking device and retreat. Later, after Necrozma possessed Nebby, turned into Dusk Mane Necrozma, and fled through an Ultra Wormhole, he and the rest of his unit were rejuvenated and continued their mission.
Gozu reappeared in SM089, where their helicopter found itself under attack from Braviary. Landing in Alola, Gozu encountered Professor Kukui and Faba and battled them, sending out his Aggron. Gozu Mega Evolved Aggron and had it use Heavy Slam on Braviary, Hypno, and Alakazam.
Gozu will appear again SM090.
