A Cook (Japanese: コック Cook) is a type of Trainer class introduced in Generation VII. They are depicted as apron-wearing men interested in cooking. They can be seen as the Generation VII counterpart for Generation VI's Chef class.

In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, all Pokémon used by Cooks are holding Leftovers.

In Pokémon Sword and Shield, Cooks keep their Pokémon in Great Balls. In the Battle Tower, they specialize in Bug-, Fire-, and Water-type Pokémon.

Abe, a Cook in the anime

Mallow's father, Abe, is based on the Cook Trainer class. He is a recurring character in Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, first appearing in A Seasoned Search!. He runs the Aina's Kitchen restaurant along with his daughter.

Cook was introduced as a Supporter card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Sword & Shield Series (the Japanese Sword & Shield Era). It was first released in the Japanese Sword & Shield Family Pokémon Card Game expansion before debuting in English in the Fusion Strike expansion, with an illustration by Sanosuke Sakuma. It allows the player to heal 70 damage from their Active Pokémon.
