The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero (Japanese: ゼロの()(ほう) The Hidden Treasure of Zero) is paid downloadable content for the Generation IX core series games Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It was announced on February 27, 2023 during a Pokémon Presents, and was made available for purchase later that day.

The unknown Pokémon

Currently, the only things provided by the DLC are a set of exclusive clothing, including four new uniforms, and for those who purchase the DLC before October 31, 2023, a serial code for a Hisuian Zoroark.

An unidentified Pokémon, which was first revealed in HZ002, is confirmed to appear in the DLC, and to be somehow connected to Terapagos, but currently it is unconfirmed whether it will debut in The Teal Mask or The Indigo Disk.

The Teal Mask

Main article: The Teal Mask

In The Teal Mask, players will be chosen to take part in a school trip that is held each year in collaboration with another school. They’ll be taken to the land of Kitakami, where a great mountain towers over the land and the people live at its base. It is a place of tranquil natural expanses, featuring rice paddies and apple orchards. The trip seems to coincide with a festival regularly held in the village in Kitakami during this season, so the village is bustling with various street vendors and stalls. Players will meet new friends and Pokémon as they unravel the mysteries behind the folktales that have been passed down in this land. This expansion features many new and returning Pokémon, including the game mascot Ogerpon. It is scheduled for release in fall (Northern Hemisphere)/spring (Southern Hemisphere) 2023.

The Indigo Disk

Main article: The Indigo Disk

In The Indigo Disk, players will be traveling to the Blueberry Academy, a sister school of their own academy, as exchange students. This expansion features many new and returning Pokémon, including the game mascot Terapagos. It is scheduled for release in winter (Northern Hemisphere)/summer (Southern Hemisphere) 2023.
