Struggle Bug (Japanese: むしのていこう Bug Resistance) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

Struggle Bug inflicts damage and lowers the target's Special Attack stat by one stage. It also affects both opponents in double battles and all reachable opponents in triple battles.

  • All Pokémon that can learn Struggle Bug are related to bugs (either Bug-type or Bug Group) with the exception of Mew and Smeargle.
  • Kricketot can learn Struggle Bug naturally, but it is incompatible with TM76 which teaches the same move.
