Tailwind (Japanese: おいかぜ Tailwind) is a non-damaging Flying-type move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

Generation IV

Tailwind doubles the Speed stat of the user and all other Pokémon in the user's party for three turns.

Generation V

Tailwind now lasts for four turns.

Generation VI onwards

Tailwind's PP is changed from 30 to 15.

If powered up by a Flyinium Z into Z-Tailwind, the user's critical hit rate increases by two stages.
