A Nurse (Japanese: ナース Nurse) is a type of Pokémon Trainer introduced in Generation V. Battling them is optional; they do not challenge the Trainer upon sight, but instead when spoken to, unless they are encountered in White Treehollow or Black Tower. Upon being defeated, the Nurse will heal the Trainer's party fully, and any time spoken to afterwards, unless they are battled in Big Stadium and Small Court. Some will give out Max Revives when defeated. They are the female counterparts of Doctors. They tend to use Pokémon with healing properties, like Audino, or Psychics. A Nurse (Japanese: ナース Nurse) is a type of Pokémon Trainer introduced in Generation V. They are the female counterparts of Doctors. They tend to use Pokémon with healing properties, like Audino or various Psychic-types. Nurses will use Full Heals during battle if their Pokémon are afflicted with status conditions.

Battling them is optional; they do not challenge the player upon sight, but will initiate a battle when spoken to. An exception to this is when they are encountered in the White Treehollow, where they will challenge the player on sight. Upon being defeated, Nurses will heal the player's party fully, and any time spoken to afterwards, unless they are battled in the Big Stadium and Small Court or the White Treehollow, where they will only heal the player once, albeit upon the player's choice. Some will give out Max Revives or Full Restores when defeated.
