Trivia
- Although several trainers in Diamond and Pearl have Bronzor at above level 33, the required level for evolution into Bronzong, Lucian is the only one to have let his Bronzor evolve into Bronzong.
- Despite being based off a bronze bell, Bronzong doesn't learn any sound-based techniques naturally, nor can it learn any by TM.
Origin
Bronzong is based off of a dōtaku.
Name origin
Its English name is a combination of "bronze" and "dong," as in the sound that a bell makes. Its Japanese name is a corruption of the word 銅鐸 dōtaku, meaning bronze bell. Its German name, Bronzong , comes from Bronze and dong. Its French name, Archeodong, comes from archeo-, Latin for "ancient", and dong.
In other languages
