(Japanese: シューティー Shooti) is a Pokémon Trainer from the Isshu region who appears in the Best Wishes series of the Pokémon anime.
History
Shooti was introduced in BW001 as a beginning Trainer ready to chose his first Pokémon. After meeting with Professor Araragi, he chose Tsutarja as his new partner. Shortly after obtaining it, he challenged Ash Ketchum to a Pokémon battle. He had much interest in battling Pikachu, a species that is foreign in his region. Because Pikachu could not use any Electric attacks, Shooti easily defeated Ash.
Shooti is set to reappear in BW009.
Character
Shooti is a Pokémon photographer, in which he takes photos of Pokémon he has not seen with a green digital camera. He is a quiet individual who prefers to keep his emotions to himself and becomes annoyed by Ash's overly-expressive personality.

Trivia
- Shooti is one of the first Pokémon photographers since Todd Snap to appear in the anime.
- Shooti is Ash's third rival whose Japanese name starts with the kana シ shi, the other two being "Shigeru" and "Shinji" respectively. He is the fourth when counting the ジ in "Jun".
- Notably "Shū", the Japanese name of May's rival Drew, also starts with this same letter. This makes Shooti the fifth major rival in the anime who's name starts with a シ or a variation of it.
