A Cowgirl (Japanese: カウガール Cowgirl) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that debuted in the Generation IV games. They are depicted as young women in cowgirl outfits. Most are found near Solaceon Town.
Cowgirls are the female counterparts of Ranchers. When paired with Ranchers in Double Battles, they are called Belle & Pas.
Unlike many other Trainer classes, Cowgirls don't seem to specialize in any certain type of Pokémon.

- Individual Cowgirls, as well as Ranchers, have Western names in the Japanese version.
- The Pokémon Sun and Moon design for the female Pokémon Breeders resembles the Cowgirl class.
