Coalossal (Japanese: セキタンザン Sekitanzan) is a dual-type Rock/Fire Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII.
It evolves from Carkol starting at level 34. It is the final form of Rolycoly. It also has a Gigantamax form.

Coalossal is the only known Pokémon capable of using the move Tar Shot and the exclusive G-Max Move G-Max Volcalith.

- Coalossal and its evolved forms share their category with Torkoal. They are all known as the Coal Pokémon.
Origin
Coalossal appears to be a mix of a dinosaur and a pile of coal. Its Gigantamax form may be based on a stove oven or furnace.
Name origin
Coalossal may be a combination of coal and colossal.
Sekitanzan may be a combination of 石炭 sekitan (coal) and 炭山 tanzan (mountain coal mine).
