Tar Shot (Japanese: タールショット Tar Shot) is a non-damaging Rock-type move introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature move of Coalossal.

Tar Shot lowers the target's Speed stat by one stage. In addition, it doubles the effectiveness of Fire-type moves used on the target. Tar Shot will not double the effectiveness of Fire-type moves used on a target that is already under the effect of Tar Shot (but may still lower its Speed).

Games Description
SwShLA The user pours sticky tar over the target, lowering the target's Speed stat. The target becomes weaker to Fire-type moves.
BDSP This move can’t be used. It’s recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can’t be remembered.
