Vanillite (Japanese: バニプッチ Vanipeti) is an Template:Type2 Pokémon introduced in Generation V.
It evolves into Vanillish at level 35, which evolves into Vanilluxe at level 47.
Biology
Physiology
Vanillite have large, white, swirled heads, resembling a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Their eyes have swirled, light blue markings, and dark bluish pupils. They have a dark-bluish mouth, a small body adorned with specks of ice, and stubby limbs.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Vanillite can blow up cold winds as low as -50 degrees. They can create ice crystals and cause it to snow in nearby areas.

Vanillite apparently live near snow, sleeping in it.

Trivia
- According to Game Freak, Vanillite and its evolutionary relatives were created by James Turner.[1]
- Vanillite and Glaceon share the same species name, being known as the Fresh Snow Pokémon.
- Vanillite resembles Casteliacone.
- Vanipati and its evolutionary relatives are the only non-Steel-type Pokémon that can learn Mirror Shot.
Origin
Vanillite appears to be based on a snowball and a small scoop of ice cream. It also resembles a child's size ice cream in a cup.
Name origin
Vanillite's English name is based on both vanilla and lite. It's Japanese name is likely a combination of vanilla and petite.
