Ferroseed is similar in appearance to a durian. Both are spherical "plants" that have many thorns around their bodies that are used for protection. Ferroseed have metallic bodies with band-like stripes and green thorns. They also have two small yellow eyes with black pupils.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Ferroseed can stick their spikes into cave walls to absorb the minerals from the rocks.
Behavior
When threatened, Ferroseed attacks by shooting a barrage of spikes, which gives it a chance to escape by rolling away.
Ferroseed is a combination of the Latin ferrum, meaning "iron" (or possibly, from Portuguese ferro, same meaning) and seed. Similarly, Tesseed is likely a combination of 鉄 tetsu, iron, and the English seed.
