Silver Trench (Japanese: 海溝 Silver Trench) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. Once all the legendary birds have been recruited, and Pitfall Valley and Stormy Sea have been cleared, this dungeon may be unlocked for exploration after speaking to Alakazam and visiting Legendary Island. A Water Pokémon with the move Dive or the HM Dive is required to initially enter the dungeon.

There are 99 floors in Silver Trench, the last floor of which is where Lugia awaits, with the moves Whirlwind, Gust, and Safeguard. Unlike most Legendary Pokémon, Lugia has a 99.9% base recruitment rate and can be recruited on the first try.

In Red and Blue Rescue Team, darkness shrouds floor 31 to 70, limiting field of view in hallways to 2 tiles. On floors 71 to 98, the field is limited further. to just a single tile.

Various Water-type Pokémon inhabit this dungeon. Monster Houses will occur on the 15th, 35th, 55th and 75th floorsRB. All of these Monster Houses are one-room floors. Monster Houses can occur on other floors, but are not set. Once Lugia has been recruited, the dungeon Meteor Cave will be unlocked.
