Trivia

  • Dangoro is similar to Geodude: Both are Rock-type, evolve at level 25 and reach their final forms when traded.

Origin

Dangoro is based on a stone.

Name origin

Dangoro may be a combination of 団子 dango, a Japanese dumpling; and ゴロ goro, meaning grounder. It may also come from ゴロゴロ goro goro, the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of a boulder or a rock rolling.
