Location

Southern Jungle (Japanese: みなみのジャングル Southern Jungle) is a dungeon only playable in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. It is only in the Special Episode Here Comes Team Charm!.

The music here is a remix of the music from certain Friend Areas from the first game, such as the Jungle, Magnetic Quarry and Ravaged Field. It seems to be located near the Midnight Forest.

Gameplay

As this is a Special Episode dungeon, the player cannot recruit Pokémon inside and cannot be rescued if knocked out.

This dungeon uses two floor layouts:

  • Medium-sized with 3-9 rooms on floors 5 and 7
  • Large-sized with:
    • 3-8 rooms on floors 1 and 10
    • 3-9 rooms on floors 2 and 9
    • 3-10 rooms on floors 3 and 8
    • 3-11 rooms on floor 4
    • 3-12 rooms on floor 6

There's 3-6 items on each floor and 2-5 items buried in the walls. There's 2-3 starting enemies on each floor.

The IQ Booster does not activate in this dungeon. The turn limit is 1000. There is water on floors 3, 5 and 7. The enemies in this dungeon have 150IQ.

There is random weather on floors 4, 7 and 10.
