Southern Jungle (Japanese: みなみのジャングル Southern Jungle) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. It is exclusive to the fourth Special Episode, Here Comes Team Charm!.

The music here is a remix of the music from certain Friend Areas from the first game, such as the Jungle, Magnetic Quarry and Ravaged Field. It is located closely to the south of Midnight Forest.

Gameplay

As this is a Special Episode dungeon, the player cannot recruit Pokémon inside and cannot be rescued if knocked out.

This dungeon uses two floor layouts:

  • Medium-sized with 3-9 rooms on floors 5 and 7
  • Large-sized with:
    • 3-8 rooms on floors 1 and 10
    • 3-9 rooms on floors 2 and 9
    • 3-10 rooms on floors 3 and 8
    • 3-11 rooms on floor 4
    • 3-12 rooms on floor 6

There's 3-6 items on each floor and 2-5 items buried in the walls. There's 2-3 starting enemies on each floor. There is light darkness in this dungeon starting with floor 4.

The IQ Booster does not activate in this dungeon. The turn limit is 1000. There is water on floors 3, 5 and 7. The enemies in this dungeon have 150IQ.

There is random weather on floors 4, 7 and 10.
