Apple Woods (Japanese: リンゴのもり Apple Forest) is an unlockable dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. It has 12 floors and no boss. It can be unlocked by completing several optional missions after Team Skull joins the Guild. The hero and partner are sent there by Chatot to find Perfect Apples, as someone had secretly eaten the Guild's entire supply. When the hero and partner reach the Perfect Apple tree, Team Skull attacks and knocks them out. Team Skull then claim the glory of finding the Perfect Apples.

Gameplay

Jobs in this dungeon are ranked E, C, or B by default, depending on the floor.

Most of the floors are of the normal type, with 1-2 and 11-12 being medium sized while 3-6 and 9-10 being large sized. However, floor 7 will instead generate a long corridor surrounding all the rooms in the center part of the floor, while floor 8 will be the opposite of that (rooms on edge, with corridors in the middle). Depending on the floor, the amount of items that can spawn outside of a Kecleon Shop varies from 1-4 to 3-6. There are usually 1-2 Wonder Tiles on each floor, and 2-5 starting enemies depending on the floor.

The IQ Booster activates on every even floor past the 4th. The turn limit is 1000. There is water on floors 6 through 9.
