Whirlpool is a mostly accurate Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation II that deals very little damage. It was the first HM move to lose its HM status, and was later followed by Flash and Dive.

Piplup glows a blue-white color. It then opens it mouth and a huge Whirlpool is released from it.

Lugia Lugia's eyes glow white, and a large whirlpool forms around it's body. Lugia ascends through the whirlpool to break the surface, and it can do a large amount of damage, knocking the legendary birdsaside.
