Sorrel (Japanese: ソウジ Souji) is a character from the twentieth Pokémon movie, I Choose You!. He is a young Trainer whose goal is to become a Pokémon Professor. He has a tendency of saying "Be advised that...".
During the movie, he traveled along with Ash and Verity to Mount Tensei, where Ho-Oh lives.

In the games
A Japanese event distributed an in-game representation of Sorrel's Lucario, along with Verity's Piplup and Ash's Charizard via serial codes that were given away at 7-Eleven stores in Japan via 7-SPOT. Players need to go to different 7-Eleven stores and collect two different virtual stamps using 7-SPOT to obtain a serial code. The serial codes were available from August 1 to 20, 2017 at 7 am to 7 pm, and can be redeemed from August 1 to 28, 2017.
