(Japanese: 大山 Ōyama) is a minor character who appeared in Destiny Deoxys. He is an attendant working at the Battle Tower in LaRousse City, whose duties include welcoming challengers and directing them to the battlefield. He was not given an official name in the English dub.
When Ash came to the Battle Tower to battle Rafe, Ōyama mistakenly thought Tory, who was actually afraid of Pokémon, wanted to battle as well. He pushed him and Ash to the registration area and wished them good luck with their battle.
