Trivia
- No other Pokémon has the same type combination as Revavroom and its pre-evolved form.
- Revavroom and its pre-evolved form were shown in multiple trailers and gameplay showcases but remained unnamed until the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Origin
Revavroom seems to be based on a multi-cylinder car engine, and the rocks attached to its body make Revavroom resemble an automobile.
Name origin
Revavroom may come from rev (informal, to increase the running speed of an engine by pressing on the accelerator) and vroom (onomatopeia for a car engine at high speed).
Burororomu may be derived from the Japanese localization for va-va-va-vroom (onomatopeia for a car engine at high speed).
