Starmobile: Difference between revisions

m (Undo revision 3644715 by TurtwigFan4848 (talk) Functionally, this trivia is both inaccurate and also not really notable. The types are overwritten manually, so it doesn't just "lose one type". It loses both types, because the entire pokemon is being replaced and overwritten, and the custom Pokémon happens to be assigned one of those types.)

The Starmobiles (Japanese: スターモービル Starmobile) are vehicles used in battle by the squad bosses of Team Star. These vehicles are encountered in the ★ Starfall Street ★ storyline of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Artwork of a Starmobile

Description

Each Starmobile is powered by Pokémon: a Revavroom sits in the hood and controls the vehicle, while two Varoom are located on the back, acting as rear wheels. Additionally, according to Mela, the Starmobiles are fueled by evolved forms of Charcadet. Ortega is the creator of the Starmobiles.

List of Starmobiles

Each Starmobile has a different type, Ability, and a signature move.

Battling

In battle, the Starmobiles are named "<Squad Name> Starmobile" (e.g. "Segin Starmobile"), as seen in their health bar; however, the battle texts refer to them simply as "Revavroom" (e.g. "The opposing Revavroom used Wicked Torque!"). The Starmobiles are immune to all negative status conditions, volatile or otherwise. Their types cannot be changed by moves such as Soak. All of their moves can be used without PP limitations. Transform fails if used on a Starmobile, and Imposter does not activate.

Starmobiles are not technically proper forms of Revavroom,[1] as the game essentially overwrites the last opponent that was knocked out, and directly modifies their stats, Nature, types, Abilities, and moves. As a result, the Starmobiles have no IVs or EVs, and have stats that are out-of-bounds for a typical Revavroom of similar level. Instead, they have the following custom properties:
