    • You can always ask for help by contacting a staff member.
  • Please preview your edits before saving them; this helps you double-check your changes and reduces the need for repeated minor edits.
  • Use talk pages to discuss changes and resolve editing disputes.
  • Creating a userpage is allowed after you've added to the encyclopedia; for more details, see the userspace policy.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~) so people know who is commenting. This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Landfish7 02:53, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

Trivia

I noticed almost all of your edits have been to trivia sections, and many of them have been getting reverted for lack of notability. I would highly suggest that you take a break from editing trivia sections and focus your contributions on other parts of the wiki. There's nothing wrong with adding trivia, but you should be sure that it's notable enough to be included before adding it, and you should make sure that not all of your edits are focused on adding trivia. Thank you. Landfish7 05:30, 7 March 2022 (UTC)

Again, just a reminder that a majority of your edits should not be made to trivia sections. I'd suggest using the Editor's Hub as a place to start. There you can find productive tasks to work on that contribute to other parts of the wiki. Landfish7 01:28, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
Once again reminding you to focus most of your edits on others parts of the wiki besides trivia. In the past three days, 17 out of 21 of your edits have been to trivia sections. I strongly recommend that you refrain from making any more edits to trivia sections for a while, and instead focus on making productive edits to other sections. Also, please make sure you are reading your talk page, as it seems you've hardly glanced at it. Thank you and have a good day. Landfish7 04:48, 21 May 2022 (UTC)

Edit conflict

I would highly suggest not edit warring with a bureaucrat by adding back in something that they had just removed. If you disagree with the removal, please do not just add it back in. Take it to the talk page or bring it up with the user who removed it. Thank you. Landfish7 01:16, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Signing

Please remember to always sign your comments. You can sign your comments with 4 tildes (~) or clicking the signature stamp ( ) on the top of the edit box. It should also be noted that once your comment has been marked as unsigned, you cannot replace it with your signature as it will give off the wrong time stamp. Thank you for taking your time to read this message, have a good day. --Landfish7 04:49, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Unnotable trivia

The trivia you have been adding recently have not been notable at all, not every little thing makes something trivia. You also have a tendency to edit the trivia section a lot, while there's nothing wrong with that, the trivia section should not be your main priority. There are other parts of the wiki that you can edit that isn't trivia. As you have also not responded to any of the previous sections on this talk page, it is clear that you do not read or heed the messages that others give you. As such, if you ignore this warning and continue to add miniscule trivia, you will be blocked without warning.--ForceFire 18:50, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Trivia (again)

You're still too focused on editing trivia sections. If you're going to add trivia please make sure it's notable and not just opinion. Landfish7 23:41, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

I actually have been trying to edit more then Trivia sections though I will not deny I have made a lot of edits to Trivia sections usually because I am often certain that there is a fact that could be added there. I can understand why would feel this way however considering how my edits have been in the past. - unsigned comment from TurtwigFan4848 (talkcontribs)

Revert conflict

Please keep in mind that reverting a revert can constitute as edit warring. Please consider discussing the content with the relevant user or on a relevant talk page instead of jumping to the undo button. The other characters mention striking resemblances that go beyond passing similarities. Laventon has nothing in common with Leon and Hop aside from being male and having darkish skin. We don't need to note every instance of characters looking vaguely similar. Landfish7 08:42, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

Signing (again)

Just a reminder to make sure you always sign your comments. Thank you. Landfish7 01:32, 5 December 2022 (UTC)

Revert conflict

Please remember that reverting a revert (especially without explanation) can constitute as edit warring—even if the person who reverted you had an edit summary that was "too vague" in your opinion. The reason I reverted your edits is because the inclusion of the word "somehow" is opinionated/unencyclopedic and unneeded, and the trivium you added I feel isn't particularly relevant. I'm fine with keeping the trivium for now (although I still think it isn't strictly speaking necessary), but the word "somehow" really should be removed due to its speculative tone. In the future, if you disagree with another user about the content of an article, take it to the talk page or bring it up with the user in question instead of just jumping to the undo button. Thank you. Landfish7 03:54, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

A/an

If "a" is followed by a word that starts with a consonant, then you use "a". If it's followed by a word that starts with a vowel (or vowel sound) you use "an". So "an Iron Treads" is grammatically correct.--ForceFire 07:27, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

Duplicate trivia

Please don add the same trivia in multiple pages, especially if it's going to be unnotable or irrelevant to some of the pages. Pick a page you think fits the trivia best and place it there, we don't need the same trivia repeated multiple times.--ForceFire 05:31, 21 December 2022 (UTC)

Trivia and edit warring

I see that you have gone back to adding trivia that is either not notable, overly specific, and outright incorrect. Please do not add everything little thing you can think of and pass it off as trivia, as not all of it is notable. Also, do not just revert an edit you don't like, that is edit warring. If you disagree with an edit, discuss it with the user that reverted you or ob the talk page of the disputed article, do not just simply revert them. This will be your only warning regarding this, if you continue to add unnotable trivia and revert other users, you will receive a block.--ForceFire 05:47, 8 January 2023 (UTC)

Spanish and Italian name pages

I actually created them before in my own userspace, but waited for a response from one of the three staff members I asked to approve, and no response came.

The lists will just have to be copied from User:Bfdifan2006/List of Spanish Pokémon names and User:Bfdifan2006/List of Italian Pokémon names, which I already added NDex numbers to. Note that for the images to show up, they need to be moved first, and two protected templates need editing too.

Preview button

Hey there, just thought I'd remind you that you can use the preview button to make sure your edits look the way you want them to before publishing changes. Please try it out! It helps a lot with keeping the Recent Changes feed from getting backed up, makes page histories easier to follow, and reduces stress on Bulbapedia's servers. Feel free to reach out to a staff member if you have any questions. Hope this helps! Landfish7 00:37, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

Area Zero trivium

The trivium was removed because it does not make sense. The existence of Terastal-related crystals in Area Zero does not imply that Terastallized Pokémon should be in Area Zero. Terastallized Pokémon appear throughout Paldea and their spawn locations do not correlate with the Tera Raid crystals. For these reasons, the trivium should be removed or reworded. Landfish7 03:25, 19 March 2023 (UTC)

Speculation

Please avoid adding speculation to articles. While all currently released Paradox Pokémon have the category "Paradox Pokémon", and while it is likely that Raging Bolt will be Electric-type, none of this info is officially confirmed and cannot be added until they are. Thank you. Landfish7 18:19, 8 August 2023 (UTC)

Kitakami

Hi. Can you tell me where specifically Kitakami is called a region in The Teal Mask, in regards to this edit? Landfish7 04:40, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

Here’s some quotes by Briar to back up what I am saying “If I can just get the Terastal phenomenon to reliably occur in regions other than Paldea, that should bring me one step closer to Terapagos..." “You see, the Crystal Pool's waters emit energy of the same wavelength as Terastal energy. Though I have no idea why that is... Once I figure that out, I might be able to stabilize the Terastal phenomenon in regions other than Paldea!” Additionally it’s mentioned that Carmine distrusts those from other regions. - unsigned comment from TurtwigFan4848 (talkcontribs)
The first couple quotes aren't necessarily referring to Kitakami specifically, where Terastallizing is already possible. It seems those quotes refer to her wanting to make Terastallizing possible in other regions, perhaps such as Unova, so that she can Terastallize Pokémon at the Blueberry Academy. As for Carmine, she repeatedly vocalizes her distrust of outsiders, but I don't recall her using the term "region" specifically. Landfish7 06:40, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

Gendered pronouns

In case you didn't know, Pokémon in the games are typically not referred to with gendered pronouns, even if their gender is confirmed. Landfish7 07:18, 2 October 2023 (UTC)

Non-avian dinosaurs

Hi, saw you put your edit back and I thought it was best to take it here instead of starting an edit war. Birds are dinosaurs, that's why the term non-avian dinosaurs exists in the first place. So please don't claim that what I'm saying is wrong before checking your facts. The reason the text said "non-avian dinosaurs [...] and birds" is because it is misleading to say "dinosaurs and birds" since it implies birds and not dinosaurs. Granted I think it could be reworded like perhaps "dinosaurs(including birds)" but the current wording is no good. Petrichor (talk) 15:26, 8 October 2023 (UTC)

Drayton Edit War

Your reverting edits on Drayton's page is being seen as edit warring, I highly recommend you stop this, use the talk page if you wish to continue otherwise you face getting a block.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 01:55, 26 December 2023 (UTC)

Basculin

You may have more experience than Veledwin has at editing Bulbapedia but this doesn't give you the right to demand respect from another member. A reminder that in case of an edit war, contact the member using their talk page or use the page's talk page. You have been warned in the past so remember to follow the rules.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 19:05, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

Blocked

You have been blocked from making edits sitewide due to engaging in a couple of different edit wars as of late, refusal to use talk pages, and having a condescending attitude when another user did not agree with your edits. Even if you know more about a topic, demanding people to respect you is rude and goes against the site's code of conduct and spirit of editing on the wiki. Everyone can edit or make changes to pages, people can add or remove content depending on whether new information is uncovered or it is found content does not belong on a page. Your refusal to try using the talk page and debating ONLY in edit summaries is entirely counterproductive, if your edits are being undone, you need to take it to the talk page. If other users are giving you a heads up or some advice on your page, take some time and reflect on it. If an admin is giving a warning about edit warring, ignoring the warning and continue to edit war WILL lead to blocks. If the behavior continues after the block is over, the next block will be for a longer period of time. Frozen Fennec 03:22, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

    • I see, I shall not fight this block as even I know this was deserved. When I do come back, I feel it will be in my best interest to, at least for a time, only stick to minor edits and not revert any edits that are undone. But I have no excuse for what I did and shall use this time to reflect on how I acted such as how I wish I made more of an effort to use the talk pages. So yeah that’s all I can say really, but I just thought I would say this to at least try and make up for not using the talk pages earlier by starting off with this statement on my talk page and then start to actually use the talk pages more when my block ends. TurtwigFan4848 (User talk) January 4 2024

Unsigned comments

If you forgot to add your signature to a talk page comment, do not go back and edit it in or add unsigned, let another user add the unsigned to it. Also instead of editing a page multiple times, please be mindful to use the Show preview button, thank you.~ Frozen Fennec 05:32, 20 January 2024 (UTC)

To clarify, I'm pretty sure you're allowed to mark your own comment as unsigned if you forgot to sign, but you should not mark a comment as unsigned in the initial edit. Just add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comment, and it will automatically populate with your signature when you save changes. Landfish7 06:03, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
