Cascarrafa (Japanese: カラフシティ Carafe City) is a city in the Paldea region. It is known as the City of Water.

Because of the Gym's specialized type, the people of this city tend to walk around accompanied by Water-type Pokémon.

The Cascarrafa Gym is the official Gym of Cascarrafa. The Gym Leader is Kofu, who specializes in Water-type Pokémon.

Kofu Restaurant

Main article: Kofu Lounge

The Kofu Lounge is a restaurant located in the eastern side of the second level of the city. It is owned by the gym leader Kofu and specializes in Chinese food.

Friendship Checker

A woman located by the fountain in the town's second level will check any Pokémon's Friendship level.

Sue

A trainer named Sue is located by the fountain in the town's second level. By talking to her, the player is given the option to make an in-game trade. Sue wants a Paldean Wooper, and will trade a Wooper named Manchester in exchange. Manchester is holding a Rare Candy.

Trivia

  • Cascarrafa's blue accents were an idea by Kofu to attract tourists to the city.[1]
  • Before the elevators were installed, Cyclizar were used to reach the city's different tiers.[2]
  • In the Seguro Style shop in the upper part of the city, the player can get the "Cool Helmet", which heavily resembles the helmet of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, a member of Daft Punk.
