Tough (condition)

A Tough Contest is a category of contest in which the toughness condition of a Pokémon is judged. Many Tough moves are Normal, Steel, Ground or Template:Type2s, but other types may be Tough as well. During a Cool Contest, the following moves will excite the crowd:

Beauty moves - Poor
Cute moves - Poor
Smart moves - Average
Cool moves - Average
Tough moves - High

The toughness condition is raised by Poffin or Pokéblocks made with sour-flavored berries. Pokémon with natures that boost physical defense - Bold, Relaxed, Lax, and Impish - get the most benefit from sour berries, so they will be the easiest to raise for a toughness contest.
