Dot (Japanese: ドット Dotto), known as Nidothing (Japanese: ぐるみん Gurumin) in her costume, is a popular online streamer that appears in Pokémon Horizons: The Series who wears cute costumes, most often seen wearing a Nidorina costume.

In the anime

History

Pre-series

Dot is a computer genius that was responsible for Brave Asagi's technology system and created the Pokédex system used by members of the Rising Volt Tacklers.

Some time ago, she created a video channel on the internet that helped several Trainers and became a hit among young people.

Pokémon Horizons: The Series

Nidothing first appeared in HZ001, taking part in several videos alongside her partner Pokémon, Quaxly.

Nidothing makes her physical debut in HZ007, where she is briefly seen without her costume and preparing to record and edit a new video. She uses her Quaxly as a messenger to communicate with Roy and Liko. She is also shown in a room of the Brave Asagi similar to Liko's.

Character

As a influencer and a video distributor, it's Nidothing's job to entertain young aspiring Trainers. Within the videos, she is seen as perky, using exaggerated methods of teaching, and giving a beginner's guide to Trainers who are interested in starting their own journey.

Outside from being a streamer, she seems to be reclusive and spends most of her time behind doors creating videos.
