Starting around 1999, the merchandising company Basic Fun released multiple series of Pokémon Keychains. Sometime around December 2000 they released a series of Tag Alongs, which were 50% smaller than the Pokémon Keychains and were packaged in sets of two. Sometime in 2005 they also released a Latios Flashlight Keychain and a Blastoise Squirtz keychain.

This series was also sold as sets of two exclusively at K·B Toys stores. Charizard and Mewtwo are known to be packaged together.
