Silver Town (Japanese: シロガネタウン Shirogane Town) is an animated series-exclusive location in the Johto region. It is situated at the base of Mt. Silver and its main attraction is the annual Silver Conference.

At least 30 inhabitants are said to be living in the town. However, the population greatly increases during the Silver Conference, when the town receives several Trainers who successfully collected eight Gym Badges from the region's Gym Leaders. There is an Athlete's Village, which consists of a huge Pokémon Center where Trainers participating in the tournament stay at for the duration of the event. There is also a stadium located nearby, where the Silver Conference matches officially take place.

Ash and his friends reached Silver Town in A Claim to Flame! so that Ash could participate in the Silver Conference. After the competition was over, the group left for Viridian City in Johto Photo Finish.

Ash & Pikachu

Silver Town appeared in One Half Of A Poké Ball, featuring an adaptation of Ash and Gary's Silver Conference battle. Unlike in Pokémon the Series: Gold and Silver, Ash's choice for facing Gary's Blastoise was his Pikachu instead of his Charizard.
