Malicious Moonsault (Japanese: ハイパーダーククラッシャー Hyper Dark Crusher) is a damage-dealing Dark-type Z-Move introduced in Generation VII. It is the exclusive Z-Move of Incineroar and an upgraded version of its signature move, Darkest Lariat.

Effect

Malicious Moonsault inflicts damage. If the target has used Minimize, Malicious Moonsault deals double its regular damage.

SMUSUM The user, Incineroar, strengthens its body using its Z-Power and crashes into the target with full force.


Learnset

Incineroar can use Malicious Moonsault if it knows Darkest Lariat, holds an Incinium Z, and if its Trainer wears a Z-RingSM or Z-Power RingUSUM.

Max Malicious Moonsault, described as a faster and fiercer version of this move, is featured as Incineroar's Final Smash.

In the anime

The user strengthens its body using its Z-Power and crashes into the target with full force.

  Incineroar strikes a series of synchronized poses with its Trainer to build Z-Power. Its body then becomes surrounded in yellow-orange fire and it jumps into the air, landing chest-first onto the opponent and causing a big explosion.
