Oceanic Operetta (Japanese: わだつみのシンフォニア Sea God's Symphonia) is a damage-dealing Water-type Z-Move introduced in Generation VII. It is the exclusive Z-Move of Primarina and an upgraded version of its signature move, Sparkling Aria.

Description

Games Description SMUSUMPE The user, Primarina, summons a massive amount of water using its Z-Power and attacks the target with full force. SwShBDSPLA SV This move can't be used. It's recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can't be remembered.

Learnset

Primarina, or a Pokémon transformed into Primarina, can use Oceanic Operetta if it knows Sparkling Aria, holds a Primarium Z, and if its Trainer wears a Z-Ring^SM or Z-Power Ring^USUM.

Trivia

• During the animation of Oceanic Operetta, Primarina's body is reversed symmetrically, with its tail on the right side of its body instead of its left. This change is not apparent for any other Pokémon or Z-Move.
• Despite its name and the fact that it is an upgraded version of Sparkling Aria, Oceanic Operetta is not a sound-based move.
• This Z-Move is a reference to Spirit Bomb, a technique from the Dragon Ball Series.
