Genesis Supernova (Japanese: オリジンズスーパーノヴァ Origins Supernova) is a damage-dealing Psychic-type Z-Move introduced in Generation VII. It is the exclusive Z-Move of Mew and an upgraded version of its Psychic.

Genesis Supernova deals damage and causes the battlefield to become Psychic Terrain for five turns.

Generation VIII onwards

Genesis Supernova cannot be selected in a battle.

Description

Games Description SMUSUMPE After obtaining Z-Power, the user, Mew, attacks the target with full force. The terrain will be charged with psychic energy. SwShBDSPLA SV This move can't be used. It's recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can't be remembered.

Learnset

Mew, or a Pokémon transformed into Mew, can use Genesis Supernova if it knows Psychic, holds Mewnium Z, and if its Trainer wears a Z-Ring^SM or Z-Power Ring^USUM. Mew cannot use Genesis Supernova if it is transformed into a Pokémon other than Mew.
