Melody (Japanese: フルーラ Furūra) is a character from the second Pokémon movie, The Power of One. Her Japanese voice actress is 平松晶子 Hiramatsu Akiko, and her English voice actress is Amy Birnbaum.
Melody is the one who selected Ash as the Chosen One in the second Pokémon movie. She has an ocarina which, when played, sounds similar to the call of Lugia. She seemed rather jealous of Misty because she traveled with Ash and kept teasing her.
She is most remembered by many fans as "the girl that kissed Ash". She was the first girl to kiss Ash in a movie and was followed by Latias/Bianca.
