  • The Power Plant plays the Rocket Hideout theme like in Generation I, instead of the Pokémon Mansion theme like in Generation III
  • All the Elite Four rooms in the Indigo Plateau now play The Final Road
  • The Hall of Fame room now plays the Congratulations! music theme

Trivia

  • In Generation I, the Route 17 is programmed to play "Road to Cerulean City: Leaving Mt. Moon", but this music theme cannot be legitimately heard on this route, because riding the Bicycle is mandatory on the Cycling Road, overriding the route theme with the Cycling theme.
