• Boomburst has the highest base power of all moves with no negative effects on the user, and the highest base power of all sound-based moves, excluding Echoed Voice, which can reach a base power of 200.
• Boomburst was the first Generation VI move to be seen in the animated series. It was used by Alexa's Noivern in Celebrating the Hero's Comet!, prior to the release of Pokémon X and Y.
