Physiology
Lunatone is a Pokémon that originally came from space. They originally came to earth within meteorites and have since adapted to life on earth quite nicely. Lunatone resembles a the crescent moon, it has red eyes and an unusual beak like structure in front of them. Being an inorganic Pokémon, it isn't preyed upon, nor does it need to prey on others, as it derives all its energy from moonlight. It uses telekinesis to float in mid-air.
Gender differences
Lunatone is genderless.
Special abilities
Lunatone's ability, Levitate, allows it to avoid Template:Type2 moves such as Earthquake or Magnitude. Its red eyes also fill the onlooker with fear.It is capable of reading the thoughts of other lifeforms like most psychic types. It is even capable of brainwashing, but only does this when it feels threatened and is usually a last resort.
Behavior
Lunatone's power and health seems to be tied directly to the phases of the moon. When there is a full moon, Lunatone is at the peak of its strength. Presumably when there is a new moon, Lunatone is defenseless. It is capable of reading the minds of other lifeforms.
Habitat
Lunatone seems to prefer caves.
