Kai (M10)

Kai (Japanese: ダイ Dai) is a Pokémon Trainer who appeared in The Rise of Darkrai. Though he was not refered to by name in the dub, Pokémon.com has since released his name. He is voiced by Ax Norman in English, 秋山竜次 Ryūji Akiyama in Japanese, and Tommy Karlsen in Norwegian.

He, along with Maury and Allegra, challenge Ash and company to a battle; specifically, he went up again Dawn with her Piplup, which began as a puff-contest (befitting their species' nature).

According to the end credits, he also participated in the Alamos Contest, where he defeated Maury in the second round, and was likely defeated by Allegra in the finals as he was on the stage with her when she received the Ribbon.
