Beach
- If you were looking for the location in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, see Beach (Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky). For the location in Pokémon Snap, see Beach (Snap).
Beaches are land formations consisting of loose rock particles, typically sand, that can be found near bodies of water in the Pokémon world. They are often home to Water-type Pokémon living in the water or on the sand, as well as Pokémon of various other types. They are also typically frequented by Trainers such as Fishers, Sailors, and Swimmers. Items such as Heart Scales or Pearls can often be found hidden in the sand, presumably washed in from the waves or dropped by travelers. Additionally, Burmy will pick up rocks and sand on the beach to form its Sandy Cloak, a form it will retain when evolving into Wormadam.
