.4 is a glitch Pokémon that can only be found by doing Method #3 of the Mew glitch and using a Pokémon with a special stat of 194. When in battle, it appears as a small floating dot. When traded to the Yellow version, it becomes a different glitch: pPkMnp (with the #230). Its cry is the sound that is played during the "Poké Ball-shaking" animation when one is attempting to capture a Pokémon.
Biology
Physiology
.4's appearance is that of a purple block of diminutive stature, resembling somewhat a computer chip. Little more is known about its physiological statistics, as it has yet to appear in any canon that would indicate this.
Gender differences
.4 is a genderless species, as the only games it was available in did not indicate Pokémon genders, and it cannot be traded to games that do indicate genders.
Special abilities
.4 is one of the few (if not the only) glitch Pokémon to learn TM28, a powerful glitch move with good power, (relatively) good accuracy, and an animation like Explosion. It also learns TM05, which ups its evasion stat by two stages.
Behavior
When its Pokédex data is entered, it will freeze the player's game. To get around this, the player must make sure that Magneton is registered as at least "seen" in their Pokédex, as the bit of data noting that they've seen Magneton also notes that they've already captured .4, hence, the Pokédex entry won't come up when the player actually catches it. Any other information on its behavior is currently unknown, owing to the fact that it has not appeared in any canon other than the games thus far.
Habitat
.4 is found mainly near Lavender Town, due to the Mew glitch. However, its habitat is not necessarily Lavender Town. Just as with any glitch Pokémon that can be found this way, .4 will appear in the route where the trainer used for the Mew glitch was, which isn't necessarily Lavender Town.

Trivia
- .4 is the first Pokémon to sport no weaknesses whatsoever.
- .4 has no alphabetic characters in its name.
- .4 does have a secondary type; however, the name of this type is randomized whenever the player checks its stats.
- .4 has been rumored to be the most dangerous of all the glitch Pokémon, given that it knows the notoriously dangerous Super Glitch move when captured. However, upon forgetting Super Glitch, .4 is completely safe.
- As none of the moves it can learn are of the Template:T2 (or indeed, any known move at all), it is impossible for .4 to receive STAB on any move it uses.
Name origin
.4 is a very small number, which could be indicative of its diminutive stature.
