It is followed by The Indigo Disk.

Plot

The player will be chosen to take part in a school trip that is held each year in collaboration with another school. They’ll be taken to the land of Kitakami, where a great mountain towers over the land and the people live at its base. It is a place of tranquil natural expanses, featuring rice paddies and apple orchards. The trip seems to coincide with a festival regularly held in the village in Kitakami during this season, so the village is bustling with various street vendors and stalls. Players will meet new friends and Pokémon as they unravel the mysteries behind the folktales that have been passed down in this land.

Ogre Oustin’

Ogre Oustin’ is minigame players can participate in. The main goal is for the player to ride KoraidonS/MiraidonV to collect Berries by popping Ogre Balloons, after collecting the Berries, the player needs to bring them back to the Berry Tables. The reward for beating the minigame is Mochi. Three other players can join either online or via a local wireless connection. Some tasks players can focus on are either collecting far-way berries or driving away greedy Pokémon seeking to eat the collected berries[2].

Mass Outbreak Events

Limited Mass Outbreak Events debut along with expansion. During these limited outbreaks, certain Pokémon will appear more than usual in several outbreaks, instead of just only one like normal[3]

Two new items are introduced, Mochi and Roto-Stick.

Mochi can be used to either increase the base points of a Pokémon’s stats or rest the base points.
