Screech (Japanese: いやなおと Unpleasant Tone) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

Screech decreases the target's Defense stat by two stat stages.

Description

Games Description
StadStad2 A move that makes a horrible noise. It sharply reduces the target's Defense.
GSC Sharply reduces the foe's Defense.
RSE Emits a screech to sharply reduce the foe's Defense.
FRLG An ear-splitting screech is emitted to sharply reduce the foe's Defense.
Colo.XD Screeches to sharply lower the target's Defense.
DPPtHGSS An earsplitting screech is emitted to sharply reduce the foe's Defense stat.
BWB2W2 An earsplitting screech harshly reduces the target's Defense stat.
