Stored Power (Japanese: アシストパワー Assist Power) is a damage-dealing Psychic-type move introduced in Generation V. It was TR82 in Generation VIII, and is TM041 in Generation IX.

Effect

Stored Power deals damage. It normally has a base power of 20, but gains 20 power for every increased stat stage the user has. Stats decreased below normal do not affect this move's base power.

Its maximum possible base power is 860. This occurs when all seven of the user's stats (Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed, evasion, and accuracy) have been raised the maximum six stages.

Stored Power can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining an extra three appeal points if a certain move (Amnesia, Calm Mind, Cotton Guard, Hone Claws, or Nasty Plot) was used in the prior turn.

Pokémon UNITE

In Pokémon UNITE, Stored Power is Espeon's first move. It is obtained by evolving from Eevee at level 4 and upgrading Swift into it instead of Psyshock. The user unleashes blasts of psychic power at random enemies in the area of effect; dealing damage to them and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. The user stores one blast of psychic power every 3s, or after the user hits an enemy with a boosted basic attack. Up to 5 blasts of psychic power can be stored at once. After this move is used, the user's movement speed is increased for 1s. Targets hit by a psychic power blast will take 70% less damage from subsequent hits. At level 10, the move deals additional damage to targets below half their HP.
