User:Cipher/Project TCG to-do list

List of Project TCG tasks - based off Nate's older to-do list (which we really need to pick through and determine what still needs actioning!) and the forum's master to-do list:

Organising the list

  1. Put everything in a single list
  2. Organise somehow, such as by task type, duration etc.

Current to-do list

  • Cards by Pokémon pages - determine how to add cameos to these
  • Cards by Pokémon pages - consider alternative means of listing cards on these
  • TCG merchandise pages to be split; each merch item/type to have its own page?
  • Consider how to improve the Holographic cards category, and other similar/related categories
  • Update redirect links for TCG Pocket cards - based on a hack with tabbed images I mentioned to Nate
  • Adding 'In other languages' for TCG cards - adding this section for cards such as Trainer/Energy cards with no other language reference point (start with Pocket?)
  • Consider ways of more easily collating TCG articles in need of work (subcategories?)
  • Look into improvements for rarity symbols and templating (split by era/series?)
  • TCG Pocket - how do we better include physical TCG references, origins etc., and vice-versa for the physical TCG?
  • Audit and organise TCG images on the Archives (long-term task)

Expansion page refresh

  • English and Japanese expansions to be split into separate pages
  • Update and renew 'Information' sections on expansion pages
  • Audit and check all 'Additional cards' sections
  • Add appropriate images to galleries on each expansion page, e.g. sampling/preview packs
  • Reconsider naming structure for expansions in other languages - using (TCG) instead?
  • Develop improved infobox for TCG expansions (needs to be mobile-friendly like the one for TCG Pocket)
  • Discuss updates to {{TCG Set List/header/packs}} to support physical TCG variations
  • Update expansion PrevNext templates
