The Battle Party Set is a set specifically designed for hosting offline tournaments. Each box includes 8 60-card decks, 3 Battle Master Reward Packs, 1 Battle King Reward Pack, 4 damage counter sheets and 1 score sheet. Each deck represent a different type, and is sealed in 3 20-card packs which allows the tournament to be held in Sealed format. The 20-card packs contain the same cards for the same deck, however each pack has a chance to have all cards inside printed in Reverse Holofoil. Battle Master Reward Packs come in silver packaging, and contains 1 random card from the Reward Packs' regular card list. Battle King Reward Packs come in gold packaging, and contains 1 random card from the Reward Packs' secret card list.
Battle Party Set is not for sale, and its contents are instead only available to general public in two organized events. The Battle Party Set Tryout Event allows 8 participants to open a set and compete through a 3-round Swiss tournament to determine the top players who receive the Reward Packs. Each participant are required to sign up through the Pokémon TCG Members WeChat App and pay 28 Chinese Yuan in order to play. Pokémon Shanghai initially allocated 50,000 sets for holding the Tryout Events between April 15, 2023 and July 14, 2023, but later announced to extend the event past July 14, although the announcement did not specify if additional sets were allocated to the extension. The other organized event utilizing Battle Party Set is the Battle of the Kings tournament. Each tournament has 64 participants and consists of 2 stages. In the first stage, contestants are split into groups of 8, with each group opening a set and playing 3 games per contestant to determine a winner. The 8 group winners will then open a new set and compete through another 3-game tournament to determine the final winner who receives a prize card in addition to the Battle King Reward Packs. The tournaments are split into seasons: the first season had a total of 300 tournaments held between between April 15, 2023 and July 14, 2023, in which all contestants received a regular copy of The Masked Royal as participation prize, and the final winners received a Full Art copy of The Masked Royal. On July 12, 2023, Pokémon Shanghai announced the plan to hold a second season with all-new promo cards as prizes, one of which was later revealed at the end of Great Tournament 2023 Shenyang to be the Full Art print of Olivia.
Deck lists
All cards in the deck lists - including Pokémon-GX and Basic Energies - are available in both non-Holofoil and Reverse Holofoil.
