Ula'ula Island (Japanese: ウラウラじま ʻUlaʻula Island) is the southeastern of the four major islands of Alola. Tapu Bulu is the island's guardian deity.

In the anime
In The Guardian's Challenge!, Kiawe mentions that, before attending Pokémon School, he delivered packages to the island early in the morning using his Ride Pokémon, Charizard.
It first appeared in SM060, where Ash and his classmates took part in the PokéSled Jump Tournament on Mount Lanakila.
Origin
Ula'ula Island's real-life counterpart is the Hawaiian island of Hawaii. Red is the island's official color[1].
Name origin
ʻUlaʻula is Hawaiian for red.
