The Promo Card Pack 25th Anniversary Edition is a 25-card set that celebrates 25 years of the Pokémon Trading Card Game in Japan. It includes a selection of reprints that appealed to both collectors and players in their respective Era, featuring popular Original Era cards, promotional cards that required high numbers of redemption points in various schemes, and cards that influenced strategic trends. Each card retains the layout of their original print with minor alterations to accommodate the collection symbol and number in the bottom left. All cards have a Confetti Holofoil background illustration and border, a red and gold "25th" graphic, and etching. These cards formed the basis of the Classic Collection subset of the Celebrations expansion outside Asia.
Packs could not be purchased individually. A single pack was given to customers at participating stores for every four 25th Anniversary Collection packs purchased. Packs were also included in concurrent items of merchandise. Each pack contained one card.
