The Blast Seed (Japanese: ばくれつのタネ Explosive Seed) is a type of seed in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series introduced in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team.

Effect

Rescue Team

When consumed, deals a fixed 45 HP of damage to the Pokémon in front of the user and fills the users Belly by 5.

When thrown, 20 points of damage will be dealt instead.

If used in a boss battle, the message "It appears to be weak here..." will appear, and the damage is reduced to 30 when consumed and 15 when thrown.

Explorers

When consumed, deals a fixed 35 HP of damage to the Pokémon in front of the user and fills the users Belly by 5.

When thrown, 25 points of damage will be dealt instead.

Gates to Infinity

When consumed, deals a fixed 50 HP of damage to the Pokémon in front of the user and fills the users Belly by 5.

When thrown, 35 points of damage will be dealt instead.

Super Mystery Dungeon onward

When consumed, deals a fixed 100 HP of damage to the Pokémon in front of the user and fills the users Belly by 5.

When thrown, 75 points of damage will be dealt instead.

Description

Games Description
MDRB A food item that makes the Pokémon breathe highly damaging fire. It also slightly fills the Pokémon's Belly.
MDTDS A food item that makes the user breathe high-damage fire at a Pokémon the user is facing, whether friend or enemy. It also slightly fills the Pokémon's Belly.
MDGtI Eating it makes the user breathe high-damage fire at a Pokémon in front of it.
SMD Eating it makes you attack 1 tile in front of you with a blast, causing huge damage.
MDRTDX Eating it makes you attack 1 tile in front of you with a blast, causing huge damage. You can also throw it to use it, but the power is weaker.
